Project Manager for Fintech Project

We are not considering locations in the Russian Federation.

Velmie is looking for an experienced Project Manager to work on a financial technology project. Part-time engagement (project-based).

Salary: 20-23$/h gross

What You'll Do

Maintain and manage the project plan, including sprints, tasks, dependencies, and timelines

Understand business needs, read and interpret use cases and development requirements

Proactively ask questions to ensure requirements are fully understood

Professionally represent Velmie in client meetings

Coordinate across departments within the company, maintain communication with developers

Identify risks and timeline issues, propose corrective actions

Assist in creating and updating project documentation

Who We're Looking For

Experience working in fintech or digital banking projects is MANDATORY

Basic understanding of the development process

Knowledge of Agile methodologies and sprint planning

Understanding of software development: frontend, backend, APIs, sprints, user stories

Basic grasp of financial systems (KYC, KYB, wallets, cards, compliance)

C1 level English (fluent in both spoken and written communication)

Professional demeanor when interacting with clients

Willingness to ask questions, learn quickly, and adapt to new information

Ability to stay organized and manage multiple priorities

Experience using Jira (preferred)
