Responsibilities

Design and improve high-volume transaction broadcasting pipelines
Manage transaction lifecycle: detect, retry, rebroadcast, and safely recover stuck transactions
Contribute to wallet infrastructure and automation; implement safe parallel transaction handling
Build cross-chain and multi-step flows; design state machines and recovery strategies for partial failures
Support routing mechanics and swap execution considerations (price impact, liquidity changes, MEV awareness)
Improve monitoring, observability, alerting, and operational guardrails; participate in incident response

Requirements

Strong backend/platform engineering fundamentals
Experience operating production systems with real uptime requirements
Hands-on experience interacting with live blockchain networks in production
Clear understanding of transaction lifecycle in at least one blockchain and failure recovery strategies
Thinks in failure modes, not just happy paths

Nice to have

Able to explain a real production incident end-to-end
Experience with wallet infrastructure (Ethereum, Bitcoin, Solana) or custody systems
Awareness of MEV, slippage, price impact and swap execution risks
Experience with high-throughput or financial systems
Experience at exchanges, custody providers, wallet infra teams, or high-volume DeFi platforms
Familiarity with UTXO-based chains (coin selection, RBF/CPFP) and cross-chain transaction orchestration
Familiarity with blockchain indexing/event ingestion and common token standards (ERC-20, SPL)
