Cloud FinOps Engineer

What you'll do

• Manage day-to-day FinOps operations, integrating cost data and conducting daily analyses.
• Build AI-leveraged analytics for cost visibility, ROI, and optimization research.
• Drive cost allocation and financial accountability at domain and feature levels.
• Develop continuous recommendations for resource utilization and rightsizing.
• Establish cost-control guardrails for volatile spending categories, especially for AI services.

What we expect

• Hands-on experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure (GCP preferred).
• Strong SQL skills — comfortable querying large datasets.
• Experience with BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
• Proficient in Python for automation and data analysis.
• Knowledge of AI builds and ability to investigate cost anomalies.
• Self-direction and initiative in research and execution.

Nice to have

• Kubernetes and Terraform knowledge.
• FinOps Foundation Certified Practitioner (FOCP).
• Experience in large-scale cloud environments.
