Senior Engineer — Internal AI Copilot

Responsibilities

• Architect and build internal AI-powered systems connecting company data, tools, and workflows
• Own solutions end-to-end: backend services, data pipelines, and lightweight user interfaces
• Apply modern AI capabilities (LLMs, retrieval, orchestration) to operational problems
• Rapidly prototype and iterate based on real user feedback
• Collaborate cross-functionally to identify and automate high-leverage workflows
• Define and evolve Ondo’s internal AI roadmap as usage scales

Requirements

• 6–12+ years as a backend or full-stack software engineer at Senior/Staff IC level
• Strong systems design experience building scalable services, data pipelines, and integrations
• Experience shipping production-grade software end-to-end (architecture through deployment and monitoring)
• Demonstrated ability applying modern AI tools (LLM APIs, retrieval systems, automation frameworks) pragmatically
• Strong product judgment and ability to operate with high autonomy

Nice to have

• Experience building internal platforms, developer productivity, or business enablement tools
• Familiarity with Claude, OpenAI, Copilot, agent frameworks and AI experimentation tooling
• Experience integrating enterprise systems (Slack, Notion, CRM, finance tools, data warehouses)
• Background in regulated or security-conscious environments (fintech, enterprise SaaS)
• Prior experience scaling an internal tool from prototype to company-wide adoption
