Data Engineer

Work Format: Remote, with one on-site visit to the Budapest office per month

Methodology: Scrum

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer, with a focus on Databricks and Python
• Hands-on experience with streaming technologies such as Azure Event Hub and Apache Kafka
• Experience with real-time data processing technologies, including Apache Druid and Apache Storm
• Experience in data pipeline development and migration
• Strong knowledge of cloud-based data platforms, ideally within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem

NICE TO HAVE

• Knowledge of Java for analyzing and understanding existing solutions and legacy code
• Experience in Web Analytics
• Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps and DataOps practices
• Experience in migration projects and Agile/Scrum environments
