Ground Control Station desktop application for mission planning, telemetry, maps, video, and local service integration. Main focus is refactoring a legacy JavaScript monolith into a secure, modular Electron architecture with typed IPC boundaries and offline-first capabilities.

Requirements

• Expert JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js, including async/event-driven architecture
• Deep Electron experience: Main/Renderer separation, contextBridge, preload scripts, IPC security, ASAR
• Strong React and real-time dashboard development
• WebSockets, REST APIs, and schema-validated IPC integration
• Security awareness around context isolation, least privilege, and secret handling
• Jest/React Testing Library, Yarn/npm, and Webpack/Vite
• Practical use of AI/LLM assistants for coding, testing, or documentation

Nice to have

• Mapbox, Leaflet, Cesium, WebGL, RTSP/WebRTC
• GIS, aviation, robotics, or hardware-control UI experience
• C/C++ or Go interop
