Lead AI Engineer

Remote | EU/CIS preferred

An international iGaming holding is hiring a Lead AI Engineer to establish and lead the company's AI engineering function.

Requirements

• 5+ years building backend or distributed systems
• Proven experience delivering AI products into production
• Experience leading engineering teams
• Deep expertise in LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, MCP and Vector Search
• Strong engineering mindset with hands-on technical leadership

Responsibilities

• Define AI architecture and engineering standards
• Build production AI platforms and shared AI services
• Lead and mentor the AI engineering team
• Drive AI adoption across products and internal systems
• Establish secure AI development and deployment practices
• Stay hands-on with architecture and critical technical decisions
