Senior Operations Manager

TBF Finance is a fintech company providing online payment processing solutions for e-commerce merchants worldwide.

We are looking for a Senior Operations Manager to bring structure, discipline, and ownership to the company's internal operations. This role sits close to leadership and shareholders, taking on the operational, process, and governance responsibilities that keep a regulated payment institution running smoothly day to day. It's a strong fit for someone with solid fintech experience (EMI or PI licensed environments) who is ready to take real ownership beyond a single function

Key Responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve internal operating processes across the company, ensuring departments work in a coordinated, efficient way
• Design, document, and enforce internal policies, procedures, and controls, keeping them aligned with regulatory requirements applicable to a licensed payment institution
• Act as the operational backbone of governance - supporting board/shareholder reporting, tracking action items, and ensuring decisions are followed through and properly documented
• Monitor operational risk and process gaps, proactively flagging and resolving issues before they escalate
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives (compliance, finance, tech, partnerships) that require alignment across teams
• Take ownership of ad hoc tasks and projects delegated by leadership and shareholders, driving them to completion independently
• Support audits, regulatory inspections, and license-related processes from an operational readiness standpoint

Requirements

• Experience working in a fintech company with an EMI (Electronic Money Institution) or PI (Payment Institution) licence
• Good understanding of how a regulated payment company operates: internal processes, controls, and governance
• Experience taking ownership of tasks or projects that involve multiple teams and seeing them through to the end
• Comfortable working closely with leadership and shareholders — reliable, organized, and able to turn general direction into concrete actions
• Good analytical and organizational skills; able to set up processes where none exist yet
• Good communication skills, written and verbal, in English
