System Administrator

We are looking for an experienced System Administrator to join a growing investment company in Limassol and support the maintenance and further development of its IT infrastructure. This role combines classic system and network administration with website and internal tools development.

Salary: 4000 EUR net

Format: Full-time, on-site in Limassol, Cyprus

About the Role and Company

You will join a European-licensed investment firm regulated by CySEC, specializing in portfolio management and traditional brokerage services for professional clients. The company brings together experienced professionals across investment, trading, compliance, and technology functions. As part of a small IT team, you will report directly to the Head of IT and take responsibility for maintaining reliable day-to-day IT operations, supporting business continuity, and contributing to the development of the company’s internal infrastructure, corporate website, and web-based tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, and maintain Windows and Linux servers, workstations, and corporate network infrastructure.
• Maintain and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network systems.
• Monitor system performance and ensure stable and reliable IT operations.
• Support business continuity through scheduled maintenance, system monitoring, and incident response.
• Participate in troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure-related incidents.
• Maintain and further develop the corporate website and internal web portals.
• Support the implementation and improvement of internal IT tools and systems.
• Contribute to improving infrastructure reliability, redundancy, backup, and security processes.

Key Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in systems and network administration.
• Strong practical experience with Windows and Linux environments.
• Confident handling of diverse hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to independently diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Availability for scheduled maintenance and occasional out-of-hours incident response.
• High level of reliability, accountability, and ownership.
• English & Russian — good working proficiency.

Nice to Have

• Programming, scripting, or web development skills.
• Experience with information security and data protection systems.
• Experience deploying and maintaining redundancy, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Experience working with databases.
• Practical experience using AI tools to automate or improve day-to-day IT tasks.
