About the team

Orca Security is a cybersecurity startup and cloud innovation leader. As part of Orca cloud security suite, our team is building Orca Sensor — a lightweight runtime component that brings deep visibility and protection to cloud workloads running on Kubernetes, serverless engines and virtual machines.

Requirements

• 7+ years of production software engineering experience in low-level or back-end languages (with willingness to ramp on Go fast).
• Production experience with at least one major cloud (AWS / Azure / GCP) and Kubernetes
• 1+ year as a tech lead or team lead, with proven ability to make and defend technical decisions and grow other engineers

Please note: we’re open to experienced backend engineers coming from different technology stacks. If your background is in C/C++, Java, .NET, Python, Rust or another backend language and you’re excited to learn Go, we’d love to hear from you. The team is ready to support and help with the transition.
