Salary: Starting at $300/month (10–15 Shorts/month during launch), with planned increases in workload and compensation as the channel scales, opportunities to earn $1,000+/month as production expands.

Our team operates faceless YouTube channels with over 200 million total views, and we're launching a brand-new animated Shorts channel from the ground up. We're looking for a 2D Animator to join the founding team.

About the project

A faceless channel producing short-form animated historical documentaries, cinematic storytelling that millions of people watch and finish. Each video is approximately 1 minute long, in the style of TheHoodieGuy and HistoryDude.

What you'll be doing

Creating engaging 2D documentaries (1 minute)

Owning the full motion cycle: Illustrate and animate characters from scratch

Assemble and export the final video (captions, transitions, SFX & music)

Delivering fast, polished, high-quality animations that match our visual style

Capture viewer attention through pacing, visuals, animation, and motion graphics

Requirements

Strong 2D animation portfolio

Experience creating illustrations/animations from scratch

Good pacing, storytelling & attention to detail

Reliable communication and deadline management
