Backend Developer (Finance Team)

Remote | Full-time

A product iGaming company is looking for a Middle+/Senior Backend Developer to join the Finance team.

Stack

PHP, Python, SQL

Responsibilities

• Development and support of financial services and ETL pipelines
• Processing and reconciliation of transaction data
• Integration with internal and external systems
• Investigation of production issues and optimization of data flows
• Working with financial reports, balances, statuses, and transactional data
• Support and improvement of existing PHP and Python solutions

Requirements

• 3+ years of backend development experience
• PHP 7.4+/8.x
• Python 3.x
• MySQL/PostgreSQL
• Strong SQL skills
• REST API integrations
• Understanding of financial or transaction-heavy systems
• Experience troubleshooting production issues

Nice to have

• Laravel or Symfony
• Redis
• ETL processes
• Kafka / RabbitMQ
• Airflow
• Fast API
• Grafana / Prometheus
• Experience in Fintech, Banking, PSP, Billing, iGaming, or other transaction-heavy products
