Middle Data Engineer (Databricks / Python)

We are looking for a Middle Data Engineer to join an international team working on one of the world's leading mobility platforms.

You'll contribute to the development of a modern enterprise data platform, building scalable data pipelines, implementing governance solutions, and working with cloud-native technologies in a highly collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, deploy, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Databricks

Build and support data governance solutions with Unity Catalog, Delta Lake, and Databricks Workflows

Perform data profiling, classification, and PII detection

Design and implement data access models and governance processes

Develop Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Terraform

Maintain data contracts and governance documentation

Monitor data quality, platform reliability, and pipeline performance

Collaborate with engineering teams to build reusable enterprise data platform solutions

Requirements

3+ years of commercial experience in Data Engineering

Strong Python skills

Commercial experience with Spark / PySpark

Experience with batch, streaming, and asynchronous data processing

Strong SQL knowledge

Experience with Data Modeling

Understanding of Data Warehouse / Lakehouse architecture

Commercial experience with Databricks

Experience with AWS or GCP

Terraform

Experience designing Data Access and Data Governance solutions

Understanding of Data Products and Governance Controls

English level: Upper-Intermediate or higher

Nice to Have

MLOps experience

Experience with enterprise Data Platforms

Interest in modern cloud technologies
